Christmas Break: Part 1.

So, Christmas break is about half over. It's been pretty boring to be quite honest. I miss college life, but I do love being at home and seeing my family. :)

This is Jamie and Vanessa. I was teaching Jamie how to french braid. :)

The beginning of making cake balls.

We were definitely multi-tasking. Making cake balls, taking pictures, and teaching jamie to french braid.

Then daddy came home from a long day of hunting. And he looked really silly in his orange hat.
But we love him. :)

Cake balls all done and finished. Kinda a fail. Tasted oh-so-good, but looked kinda iffy.

Family shopping after church!

The three kids.

We are so weird.

Jamie lookin like a fool by some sweet frost/snow covered trees.

 Dido. But me.

My newest knitting project. I am starting to looove it!

In between all those pictures is a lot of me and the sibs laying around and enjoying movies, naps, and games. Which isn't too picture worthy.
So, that's it for now. I'm sure I will have more to come.

Well, my to-do list isn't getting much smaller. I've done a few things, but mostly just laying around! :)

I have done:
-made cake balls with the sis. They were SO good. slightly difficult to make, but totally worth it.
-started one of my books.
-knitted a little
-slept in and stayed up way too late
-got my hair cut
-made other yummy food
-hung out with kelsey

Christmas Eve is tomorrow!! :) That means three super good things. First, Christmas Eve Church. Second, Christmas Eve dinner (CRAB LEGS :DDDDD ) Third, Open presents!

My sister seems to think we need to get up early and jump on my parents bed like the kids in the comercial...but that would require getting up before them. Which never happens. Oh well.

I'm enjoying my homework free break. However, I'm already kinda ready to see college friends again. :)

To-Do List

Now that I'm home and the stress of finals is over, my to-do list becomes way shorter, and way more enjoyable. I don't think I'll get it done, but I'm gunna try. So, do date, here is my list:

-Read The furious longing of God
-Read Crazy Love
-Read Brown like coffee
-Read the NT
-Read other books, but I'll save those for if i actually get the others read.
-Have coffee with Kenzy
-Have a sleepover with Sandy and Dietch (maybe others) and laugh and cry and talk till we pass out.
-Make christmas cookies with my sister (or cake balls (whatever those are))
-Enjoy my family
-Play me some crib with family and friends
-Sleep in
-Clean my room :/
-Knit
-Play in the snow. at least once.

That's it for now. But I'm sure I'll add to it. And hopefully cross completed things off it! I'm so pumped to be home, even though I'll be missing my friends from college. Oh well, that's what facebook is for i suppose! :D

Finals Week-

Depending on who you ask, either the best week of the year, or the worst.
I, personally, think it's pretty great.
That opinion may change when my classes get harder, but i'm not convinced.
Finals week is a whole lot of stress and studying, yes.
However, it's ONLY studying (unless you have a project).
Usual weeks out of the year, we have to study, do homework, AND go to class.

Seems like an ok deal to me.

Plus there is the looming satisfaction of finishing the semester and going home to completely relax.

I'm sorry for those of you who have five or more finals. That just stinks. I only have three...
Two will be hard, and I NEED to do good on them. The other could go either way.

Either way, it's finals week, and we have made it through the semester!!! :)

Bad but Good.

So...linear algebra is hard. Well, sometimes. Like today. I hate that feeling where you go to class and actually pay attention, take notes, but then walk out completely clueless about what was being taught. Yikes. I am more than scared to look at my homework.

I also dislike math problems that decide to use enough variables that almost the whole alphabet is present. That also happened today...

I really hope I make it through semester still alive. And with a good GPA.

Oh well...four more days of class...at least that is a happy thought.

But it's the weekend. :) And it should be a good one. :)

Hit like a ton of bricks.

You know, I'm not really sure this happens to anyone else.

But. I know it does to me.

I'll just be going along, doing whatever. Then I get hit with a bad mood like a ton of bricks.

That has definitely happened tonight.

Not only am I then in a bad mood, I also become extremely unproductive.

Ug. It's days like these where the word worthless describes me perfectly.

Help.
