Surprisingly, the gospel message is quite simple and straight forward.
We're sinners with no way to save ourselves. Jesus loved us enough to come and take our sins upon himself in order that we might become righteous through his sacrifice.
Simple right? Believe in Jesus' power to save you, and you will be saved.
I'm finding more that it isn't as simple as I thought.
Does Jesus offer salvation to everyone? I think yes, but many people think no.
Do we accept Jesus gift or does He give it to us?
Are we saved just because we believe in Jesus, or does it take more?
Such questions baffle me.
Thanks to my good friend Rando I have had a large number of thought provoking questions thrown my way.
"If you're not making disciples, you're not a Christian"
((Taken from I'm not sure where...but I'll find out and edit.))
:/
If this is the case, I feel like most of Dordt college is non-Christian.
But they believe they're Christians.
So what happened to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved?
See where I just don't know what to think?
