Three days and 1200 miles later, we have arrived.
In Jacksonville, Fl.
Boom.
I would like to give a shout out to my parents for teaching me how to:
1) Read a map
2) Drive. And drive well for that matter.
Things that came in handy these past few days.
We drove to Kentucky and stayed there the first night. It was actually awful.
I had a migrane and was sick. Not a good start to the trip.
This is a ghetto gas station we stopped at.
But, it had a pretty view outside! :) This is my car buddy, Amelia.
The next day, we drove to Valdosta, Georgia.
I think this is around Chattanooga, TN.
It was pretty stormy the last 24 hours of the drive.
Our sleep in Georgia was a less comfortable place to sleep (on the floor), but I felt much better.
I walked around in the rain, and talked to my friend Courtney :)
Then today, we headed to Jacksonville.
We arrived here around noon.
So much excitement was going on.
I met my team leader, Jill! She's adorable, and very sweet.
And this is my team! :)
We all share a room, and will be doing Bible study together. I'm real excited.
That is about all I know! We have orientation later tonight, where I'll be meeting everyone else.
I'm so excited to be back with the boys from Dordt!!
