So, today marks day one of student teaching.
Nothing overly crazy happened today.
I began the day with Mr. Schonhoven and basically just observed math, Bible, and social studies. I'm in his 5th/6th grade class. We have a whopping total of 8 kids.
We broke for recess, and I got some coffee (yay) because it was freezing. I didn't take my coat off all day.
I also had the 7/8th grade girls run up to me during recess and ask me if I was married or engaged. That was interesting.
We then had a bit of english then more recess and lunch.
After lunch I observed more English in Mrs. Vonk's class and read a book to the class.
Nothing crazy. It wasn't awful, but I'm going to have to get mints or something. I'm back to the no-gum-allowed-rule. Boo. Also no cell phone for 9 hours a day.
But those are my only complaints. Here we go.
